Gridworlds are test environments for systems. They use simplified assumptions, tend to be clean, isolated and rather platonic. You only do one thing at a time, and the messy reality doesn’t bother you.
An initial testbed for ideas can be conceived as a grid world. In my case, a way to narrow down to a shape generating method, given certain materials.
This collection is about such processes: one explores a limited set of jewellry making rules and by letting the rules interact, controlled emergence happens.
All pieces are made with discarded leather scraps.
